Paytm brings Covid-19 Vaccine Finder - Here's How to use it

Paytm announced the launch of Covid-19 Vaccine Finder on its Mini App Store. The tool allows users to check the availability of vaccination slots for a specific date
by entering PIN codes or district details for eligible age groups i.e. 18+ or 45+.

According to Paytm, users can also opt for real-time alerts on the app to get information about the availability of any slot for vaccination. The company says the process will help reduce the hassle of refreshing the platform to check for new slots repeatedly. Paytm also clarified that the data is sourced on a real-time basis from the CoWin API.

COVID-19 - Above 18 Vaccination - Online, Offline Registration from this Date

Paytm’s new tool comes amid a huge rush for booking an appointment for Covid-19 vaccinations, especially after it opened for people aged between 18 and 44. As of now, the CoWin website does not alert people about the availability of vaccines. Some coders have figured workarounds to help people get email alerts and notifications to get information on the availability of vaccines.
