Nokia C1 Android Images and Specifications

Nokia is set to get back to the Smartphone game by reviving its plans with the Android-powered Nokia C1. To be clear, it’s not the Nokia’s Microsoft sub-division. Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri earlier stated that the Finnish company certainly is looking for a return by designing and licensing the smartphones to the mobile markets, after the company’s agreement with Microsoft to not use the Nokia name on smartphones had expired.

Nokia is now working on its plans for 2016 and further, and it will not conflict further with Microsoft's mobile efforts. "Microsoft makes mobile phones. We would simply design them and then make the brand name available to license."

Nokia C1 sports a 5-inch size and 1080p resolution, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, powered by an Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It comes with an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front snapper. It’s more of a budget device and that doesn’t feature extras like a fingerprint sensor or any sort of special camera system.

The Android-based Nokia C1 live images have been leaked, which is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 4 handset. However, we need to see the official images of the smartphone. It is rumored to have elegantly rounded edges, fairly slim screen bezels, and most likely, an all-metal construction.

The Nokia N1 tablet introduced earlier this year was manufactured and distributed by Foxconn, which licensed Nokia's design and brand. But Foxconn may not manufacture the Nokia C1 Smartphone.
