Flipkart launched its UPI services, Flipkart UPI, in partnership with Axis Bank. Flipkart UPI will initially be available for Android users, the company said. Loyalty features such as Supercoins, cashback, milestone benefits and brand vouchers will be made available
after the UPI launch, it added.
Flipkart has been testing its UPI offering since last year. The service will allow its users to make UPI payments without switching to other applications. Consumer internet companies introducing their own UPI offerings is significant in the context of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) trying to reduce UPI’s over-reliance on a few players.
Customers can now register for UPI with the @fkaxis handle and can do all fund transfers and checkout payments using the Flipkart app.

Download and install the latest version of Flipkart app from Play Store or Apple App Store
Search ‘Flipkart UPI’ banner and tap on it
Click on ‘Add bank account’
Select the bank that you want to link with Flipkart UPI
Complete the verification process
Once verified, Flipkart UPI is set up and you can now start make payments using the UPI
How to make payments on Flipkart using Flipkart UPI :-
On Flipkart, add the product you want to purchase
Move to the payment page after selecting address and other details
Select Flipkart UPI as the payment method
Enter UPI Pin to complete the translation.
How to use Flipkart UPI to make payments using QR code :-
Open Flipkart app and look for ‘Scan & Pay’ option at the top.
Tap on it and scan the QR code
Enter the amount
Complete the payment with UPI Pin
How to make bill and electricity payments using Flipkart UPI :-
On the ‘Scan & Pay’ page, select ‘My UPI’ tab at the bottom ribbon.
Select ‘Bills & electricity’ option
Choose ‘Mobile Prepaid’ or ‘Electricity’ option
Enter necessary details and amount
Make the payment by entering the UPI Pin
