An Indian resident, regardless of their age, gender, are entitled to enrol for a 12-digit Aadhaar number, serving as a national ID card. Any citizen, for the same, can schedule an appointment for themselves, a family member, or a friend using the online appointment service.
The appointments for fresh enrolment, any update in the name, mobile number, address, email ID or date of birth can be booked at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendras or at Registrar run Aadhaar Seva Kendras.
Following are the steps to book online appointment for Aadhaar enrolment:
Step 1: Visit https://uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: Under 'My Aadhaar', click on 'Book an Appointment
Step 3: Select from Book an Appointment at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra
Step 4: Select your city/location from the dropdown
Step 5: Click on 'Proceed to book Appointment'
Step 6:Click on 'Book Appointment' and enter your mobile number
Step 7: Click on 'New Aadhaar' or 'Aadhaar update' tab and enter Captcha and click on 'Generate OTP'
Step 8: Enter OTP and click on verify
Step 9: Enter Appointment details such as State, City and Aadhaar Seva kendra, select language and click next
Step 10: Enter personal details and address details along with proof and click the Next tab
Step 11: Select the time slot and click Next.
You will receive a message of confirming your appointment.
How to locate the nearest enrolment center:
To find the nearest Enrolment Center, a person can either search 'Locate Enrolment Center' or visit https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/easearch.aspx and input the state, district, and locality or can visit an Enrolment Agency-run Aadhaar Enrolment centre.
Documents needed:
A valid Proof of Identity (with a photograph), a Proof of Address, and a Proof of Date of Birth to enrol. You may utilise a single document to satisfy several requirements if it is listed in the approved list.

Aadhaar Enrolment: FREE
Mandatory Biometric update for kids (at age 5 and 15 years): FREE
Any Biometric update with or without Demographic Update*: Rs 100
Only Demographic update* by residents: Rs. 50
Download Aadhaar & Coloured Print: Rs. 30
*Update of more than one field on single instance will be considered as one update
