Whatsapp Images will be automatically removed from the Chat

WABetaInfo informed that, WhatsApp, has now announced a new feature – disappearing photos. WaBetaInfo has now shared the screenshots of the feature which reveals that a photo will disappear after it has been received by the user and leaves the chat.

WhatsApp is reportedly testing the disappearing photos feature and the screenshot clearly states that if you want to send a disappearing photo, you need to choose photos from the gallery of your phone. Once the photos have been selected, you will have to select the clock-like icon; this icon will be displayed near the “Add a caption” bar.

The new disappearing photos feature works exactly like Instagram, which also enables us to send self-destructing photos. Once this disappearing photo or video has been sent on Instagram, it will disappear after the recipient opens the message. This message will no longer be visible in their inbox unless the sender has allowed a replay of the same.

As per WaBetaInfo, we wont be able to export or save self-destruct photos from WhatsApp. This means that a WhatsApp user will not have the option to save the disappearing photo in their phone or forward them to other contacts. However, the screenshot detection feature hasn’t been implemented for self-destructing photos.
