Get GPay Debit Card in India and know more about it !

Google GPay has some exciting changes, plus this time you could get a free GPay debit card. The new Google Pay app will come with a co-branded debit card alongside the new GPay app. The Google co-branded debit card was leaked in early this year. Apart from the Google debit card, the search giant is also adding digital-first banking accounts within the GPay app.

Google is introducing the concept of digital-first banking accounts. It will be available within the Google Pay payments app which will allow users to help use their online banking services within the app.

So, you can access your own online banking within the app. More details about the upcoming Google debit card are not out yet.

Google already ran a service with a wallet card previously with a MasterCard debit account. It allowed users to withdraw funds directly from the Google Wallet balance. Now GPay doesn’t offer any wallet service in the country, and all the payments are based on direct bank transfers.

The new GPay app will have a three-tab navigation system. It is divided among three sections: Explore, Pay, and Insights. The first section will include all the running offers, promotions, and has a shortcut to payments. Here you can scan Google Pay QR or directly make a payment to someone.

The second tab among the sections include the default home screen. It also has shortcuts to pay someone, online recharge, bill payments, bank transfer and shops.

On the third tab you can check your current account balance and some additional insights along with transaction history.

Everything else remains pretty much the same as like to pay someone, you need to tap on “People” in that middle tab and you get to choose a person from the contact list, and you can directly transfer the money. You can search in the starred contacts. The rest of the features remain very similar to the old app.

There could be a new feature as well where you can start a group to split a bill within the GPay app. Bill payments, bank transfer and online recharges within the tab will be available. The new version of the GPay app will be rolled out soon to the public. The new changes will be available right away, while banking services and GPay debit card availability will be confirmed soon.
