BSNL Rs. 666 prepaid recharge validity extended

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been trying really hard to compete with private Indian telcos such as Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea. While all these telcos have been offering cheap data and tariff plans in the long-term prepaid recharge segment,
BSNL has now revised its BSNL Rs. 666 long-term prepaid recharge plan to offer even more validity to subscribers.

According to a report by TelecomTalk, the BSNL Rs. 666 prepaid recharge plan has been revised to offer 134 days of validity while the rest of the benefits remain the same. The BSNL Rs. 666 prepaid recharge plan comes with 3.7GB daily high-speed data and after the FUP limit, users will have access to the internet at 40 Kbps speed, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls apart from Mumbai and Delhi circles and 100 SMS per day. Earlier, the BSNL Rs. 666 prepaid recharge plan used to offer 122 days of validity.

It should be noted that the BSNL Rs. 666 prepaid recharge plan was also revised recently to reduce the validity to 122 days from 129 days and now the validity has once again been revised to 134 days.

In another development, BSNL has discontinued two of its long-term prepaid plans worth Rs. 999 and Rs. 2,099. Both of these plans came with 365 days of validity. On the other hand, BSNL has also revised the Rs. 525 and Rs. 725 postpaid plans to offer more data to the subscribers. While the BSNL Rs. 525 postpaid plan earlier came with 15GB of data, it now offers 40GB of monthly data. The BSNL Rs. 725 postpaid plan now offers 50GB monthly data.
