New Apple TV to focus on Gaming

Apple Inc. is set to launch its new Apple TV which is set to be focused on Gaming, and according to a New York Times online report on Sunday, Apple TV, reportedly taller and thicker than previous models is set to be unveiled at an event on Wednesday.

As per the reports making rounds, Apple plans to launch the product with the price ranging from $150, and it will have an additional new remote that could double as a controller and an app store for buying games, plus more power for better graphics.

However, Apple representatives were not available for further comment. As per the New York Times, several game executives and analysts guess that Apple will be winning over fans with the high-end game consoles like the Microsoft Corp's Xbox One Sony Corp's PlayStation 4. It is packed with a powerful processor and memory, and comes packaged with a Bluetooth touchpad remote. It is expected to run on iOS 9, and as informed earlier, the device supports a dedicated App Store, Siri support and has the universal search function.

The next-gen Apple TV as per the leaked information reveals that the overall software features remain largely the same. Siri present as an overlay will interpret the commands and can further suggest relevant apps, TV shows, and movies in addition.

Apple has sent the invites for the September 9th press conference at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, where the company is expected to unveil the new iPhones including the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which focuses on the processors and Force Touch displays, iOS9 on software front and a new version of its Apple TV set-top box.
