LG Nexus 5 (2015) Specifications & Launch Details

The LG-made Nexus 5 (2015) is making waves in the net again, with the new leaks on the tipped specifications. The updated Nexus 5 could be affordable than the earlier thought price, and is expected to be launched in the late September.

The specifications have been leaked by Android Police, and the LG-made Nexus 5 will be launched as the 'sub-flagship level' Smartphone. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, LG Nexus 5 features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; 3GB of RAM; Adreno 418 GPU which is an interesting choice.

The rear camera will use a 12.3MP sensor, and the front snapper will use a 5MP sensor. The battery is however packed at 2700mAh, which is only 500mAh more than the original and doesn't come with a promise of greatly-improved power consumption characteristics.

LG Nexus 5 smartphone is rumored to feature a USB Type-C port, and it’s no surprise as Nexus smartphones meant to be the platform lead devices for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and Google announcing support for the USB specification at I/O 2015. Also, the smart device comes in 16GB and 32GB storage versions only as earlier version, with no storage expansion option.
LG Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to arrive in three colours in Black, Blue, and White.

With LG, Google and Huawei are in its plans to for launching the Nexus smartphones later this year, several rumored leaks point that the companies have been working on Android 6.0 Marshmallow final build.
