Amazon’s two-hour delivery for sweets and chocolates for these customers

Amazon Prime Now is now providing two-hour delivery of popular regional ‘mithai’ and Cadbury chocolates to customers across Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Prime Now offers exclusive access to
2-hour delivery to Prime members anytime between 6 AM to midnight, and the same-day 2-hour slots from 6 AM to 12 AM for all customers. 

Siddharth Nambiar, Head of Prime Now, India, said, “This festive season, we are excited to add sweets and chocolates to the Prime Now selection of over 10,000 products across Consumer Electronics, Home & Kitchen, and Grocery available with 2-hour delivery! Customers can choose from Cadbury Celebration gift packs and variety of sweets by popular mithai brands across the four cities.” 

Customers can get the 2-hour delivery of sweets this Diwali from Adigas, Nandini and Lal Sweets in Bangalore, Almond House and Karachi Bakery in Hyderabad, Ghasitaram in Mumbai, Bikano and Lal Sweets in Delhi. Additionally, customers can shop for Cadbury Celebration gift packs and get it delivered in just 2 hours across these four cities.

Amazon claims that Prime Now has a selection of over 10,000 products deliverable within hours. This includes selection across all categories like best selling smartphones along with Amazon Devices, Consumer Electronics, Home & Kitchen and Grocery by Amazon through the Now Store.

Amazon India says that it has scaled up the infrastructure and delivery network in order to increase speed of delivery and provide a superior experience to customers shopping on Prime Now. According to the company, it has 15 fulfilment centres dedicated to support ultra-fast deliveries on Prime Now, with temperature-controlled storage and delivery capabilities.
