Check Reliance Jio now available plans after de-listed few plans

Jio has de-listed some of its prepaid plans from the website that were exclusive to JioPhone users. The all-in-one plans
priced at Rs 99, Rs 297, Rs 153, and Rs 594 have been removed from the website. These plans offered both on-net and 500 minutes of off-net or Jio to non-Jio calls with 3GB, 14GB, 28GB, and 56GB data respectively. However, the existing plans offer only on-net or Jio to Jio calls.

The move comes after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) abolished Interconnection Usage Charge (IUC) following which Jio has made all domestic calls free.

The available JioPhone all-in-one plans listed on Jio’s website are priced between Rs 75 and Rs 185. All these plans have a validity of 28 days, offer unlimited calling and complimentary subscription to Jio apps. The Rs 75 prepaid plan offers 3GB data and 50 SMS. The Rs 125 prepaid plan offers 14GB of data and 300 SMS. The Rs 155 prepaid plan offers 1GB daily data with 100 SMS per day. The Rs 185 prepaid plan offers 2GB daily data with 100 SMS per day. The development was first reported by Only Tech.

Following the IUC removal, Jio has brought about changes like scrapping complementary data from regular plans. Before the removal of the IUC, Jio gave 300 to 12,000 FUP minutes depending on the price of the prepaid plans. The telco used to give 1GB of data for every 10 rupees a user spent on calls. Jio had noted that it charged customers at a rate exactly equivalent to the applicable IUC charge. The company further noted that while implementing the IUC charges, it had assured customers that it would only charge customers for off-net calls till the time TRAI abolished IUC charges.
