UIDAI gives rules for Children Aadhaar

How to get Aadhaar number of children


Parents will have to go to the Aadhar Seva Kendra with the child’s birth certificate or hospital discharge card / slip. Let us tell you that the biometrics, fingerprints and pupil details of children below 5 years of age are not taken. Therefore, it is necessary to update it later. If your child is over 5 years old

To get Aadhaar card for a child above 5 years of age, a child’s birth certificate, school ID card and a bonafide certificate are to be placed on the letterhead of the institute. The child’s fingerprint, Irish scan and photo will be taken at the base center. This information will be updated again when the child is 15 years old. Parents will also have to provide their Aadhar card information. If biometric data, fingerprints, Irish scans change with age, it can be updated again. These days, hospitals have also started registering newborns in the Aadhaar system before discharging them.
