BSNL will Pay You 6 Paisa For 5 Minutes Of Voice Call

BSNL state run telecom carrier for the first time in India is paying money to the users, for making voice calls. This scheme is not applicable for BSNL’s mobile network users, and applicable for only wireline, broadband
and FTTH customers.

Vivek Banzal, director CFA, BSNL said, “In an era of digital experiences, where customers are seeking quality services for voice and data. We want our customers to engage more with our upgraded Next Generation Network, experience the quality of voice call which happens on wireline, and also get incentivized for the same,”

This can also be a move to lure in Jio users into their wireline network, since Jio will charge 6 paisa per voice call from their users, in order to compensate the IUC charges.
