Paytm Launches Paytm First know more details

Paytm is at the top of the list where digital payments are concerned, but it still continues to find new ways to stay there. The newest development is that Paytm has introduced its new venture, Paytm First, which is a premium subscription-based rewards and loyalty programme.

Paytm Launches Paytm First :-

One97 Communications, owner of Paytm, announced the launch of this new platform on Tuesday. Customers will be able to take advantage of the benefits offered by Paytm and get cash back too. This will probably increase the footfall and attract more customers to the already popular platform.

At the launch of the app, Deepak Abbot, Senior Vice-President, Paytm said, “We are very excited to launch our exclusive loyalty programme ‘Paytm First’ with sought after rewards and benefits spanning across video and music streaming, food and travel, shopping and lifestyle.”

The company aims to make a sale of 3 million subscribers within the first year of its launch.

What Benefits Does Paytm First Offer? :-

Paytm has joined hands with numerous online portals such as Zomato, Eros Now, Sony Liv, Viu Premium, Gaana, and Uber.

The Paytm First subscription is launched at a considerably low price, Rs. 750 only, in which Rs. 100 will be returned as cashback in their inaugural offer for a limited time period. It will include Zomato Gold membership, an annual subscription for Gaana, Sony Liv, and Eros Now memberships.

Paytm has also released a statement that the subscription will offer a ViU Premium membership, benefits on Uber which will be up to Rs. 6000 and on Uber Eats up to Rs. 2400.

Also, Paytm is planning to give out exclusive offers on its movie ticketing platform and the online shopping portal, Paytm Mall. Movie ticket buyers will get over Rs. 1500 cashback including Rs. 100 cash back on movie ticket booking each month. For Paytm Mall users, there will be unlimited free and priority shipping, in addition, to access to priority (no waiting) 24×7 customer care as well.

Apparently, Paytm is also looking to introduce its own OTT service, competing against the popular Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Eros Now, and JioTV.

Clearly, Paytm is following the footsteps of Amazon and Flipkart, and trying to create a community of their loyal users, for further expanding their influence.
