BSNL lets you to Get Data Carry Forward Feature

State-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced that the subscribers can now carry forward their data for the next month. BSNL has announced that it would offer
data carry forward facility in its Rs 525 postpaid plan which ships 80GB of data per month.

BSNL has capped the data carry forward limit to 200GB meaning that users will be able to accumulate a maximum of 200GB in their account. Right now, the feature remains limited to Kolkata only and it is only applicable on the Rs 525 postpaid plan. However, there’s no doubt that BSNL has now presented a strong front against telcos like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone India by making this move.

BSNL Rs 525 Postpaid Plan:

BSNL is offering the Rs 525 postpaid plan across all the circles, but it has now revised it for its users in Kolkata. The revised plan provides a user 80GB of 2G/3G data along with data carry forward option of up to 200GB. Users can also enjoy unlimited voice calls to any network within India and the calls will not be charged to numbers even in Mumbai and Delhi circles. Thankfully, this plan also ships with 100 SMS per day benefit, and if a user wants to send an international SMS, BSNL will charge Rs 5 per SMS.

Talking about the security deposit, BSNL will charge Rs 500 for users looking for local+STD services, Rs 2,000 for local+STD+ISD services and Rs 5,000 for local+STD+ISD+International Roaming services. In addition, the data benefit is unlimited on the network as if a user finishes the alloted 80GB monthly data, BSNL will provide data at 40 Kbps. For those who’re looking for an unlimited data plan without any speed restriction, BSNL has the Rs 1,525 postpaid plan. Lastly, users will also get free Amazon Prime subscription for one year with this postpaid plan.

Well, as mentioned above, BSNL has the same Rs 525 postpaid plan in other circles too, but the telco did not revise it. Sans Kolkata, the BSNL Plan-525 provides a user with unlimited voice calls and 15GB of data valid for a month. Of course, there’s no Data Carry Forward feature as well.
