Aadhaar official twitter handle posted
" Now you can carry your Aadhaar on your smartphone. Download the ONLY Official mobile app for Aadhaar - #mAadhaar"

Ways to access your Aadhaar on the mobile app:-

1. The users need to download the mAadhaar app from Google Play on the smartphone.

2. After downloading the mobile app, the users will be asked to confirm and accept terms and conditions of the application, post which the user will be directed to the guideline page.

3. The next step will take the users to a page, wherein they will be required to generate 4-digit password before importing Aadhaar profile in the smartphone.

4. Once the password is generated, the users need to enter their Aadhaar number. However, they can simply scan the QR code from their Aadhaar card.

5. With Aadhaar number submission, the users will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on their registered mobile number. The users need to select 'verify' for completing their profile.

6. Post verification, the users will be directed to a page where they will be asked to enter the password, which was generated for creating profile. By entering the password, the users can access their mAadhaar on their smartphones.

The users can not only access their Aadhaar on their smartphone with mAadhaar app but also biometric settings. Moreover, the users can also share eKYC with mAadhaar app.

  1. My Aadhaar card doesn't show my mobile number. I have been trying to get my mobile registered on Aadhaar. But without success. The Post Office near my home is on paper authorised to get this registration done. My several attempts to approach the post office official concerned have been fruitless. The official says he will call me when my turn comes. But he has never called. The Post Office in question is Kharodi Post Office. Pincode No: 400095.
