Facebook Watch Party in your FB Group

Facebook Groups has now got an new feature named Watch Party by which users can watch videos on Facebook together in real time.

Facebook in a blogpost said
" Once a Watch Party is started, participants can watch videos, live or recorded, and interact with one another around them in the same moment". The video streams of the members of the Group will be synced so they can comment as well as react.

Facebook said, "We believe that if people can start a Watch Party directly from their profile or from a video they’re watching, the experience of watching video on Facebook can become even more fun and social."

This feature is currently limited for Facebook users within a Group, the WhatsApp-parent company has said that it is beginning to test the Watch Parties feature for users to use with friends outside of groups, too, and eventually explore it for Pages in the future.

Facebook users who had access to his feature earlier as part of testing, will also get these new features:

* Co-hosting, which lets the host of a Watch Party designate other co-hosts who can add videos.
* Crowdsourcing, which lets anyone in a Watch Party suggest videos for the host to add to the Watch Party.
