BSNL has launched 'FIFA World Cup Special Data STV 149' to beat the heat of Football competition from the leading teleco's this season.
BSNL’s plan,
the STV 149 will be available across all telecom circles in the country starting June 14. It will offer 4GB 3G mobile data per day during FIFA World Cup- June 14 and July 15. However, the BSNL’s STV 149 will not include any voice or SMS benefits.

BSNL had also launched a data plan worth Rs 499 to compete with Jio’s Rs 509 plan. Under the new BSNL Rs 499 postpaid plan, subscribers are entitled to get 45GB of monthly data along with unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMS per day.
