Google Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P Price & Specifications

Google has unveiled not one, but two Nexus devices this year including Nexus 5X, and the Huawei-made Nexus 6P. The Company has also announced the new Pixel C Tablet, new Chromecast products- second-gen Chromecast dongle and Chromecast Audio

at Google announced the new Nexus lineup and said that "the latest Android software built into the most innovative hardware meant to deliver Android as Google designed it." They are available via Google Store, where Nexus 5X 16GB variant is priced $379, and Nexus 6P 32GB model is priced $499.

Both the devices went on pre-order sale in countries Germany, Ireland, Japan, the UK, and the US, while they will be shipped in October. The Company has also announced the pricing of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in India, though there is no official announcement on the availability of the phones.

Both Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and the key features include the Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor, and USB Type-C ports. The devices are compatible with the with Google's Project Fi, the company's MVNO service while the company claims that the fingerprint sensor is claimed to recognise a print in less than 600 milliseconds. The new Nexus smartphones boasts of the Android Sensor Hub, a low-power processor comparable to the Apple M9 coprocessor with the separate powers gesture, activity, and movement tracking using gleaned from specialised hardware and Camera.

The Nexus 6P sports 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixel) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, designed out of aluminium and is equipped with 12.3-megapixel rear camera with 4K and slow-motion (240fps) video recording, apart from an f/2.0 aperture; 8-megapixel front-facing camera with HDR+ and a f/2.4 aperture. Onboard is the 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC, while it comes with 3GB of LPDD4 RAM and supports 3450mAh battery with Quick Charge. The device is available in Frost White, Aluminium, and Graphite colour variants and in 64GB ($549) and 128GB ($649) inbuilt storage variants

On the other hand, the Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and is equipped with a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with 4K and slow-motion (120fps) video recording, apart from an f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with HDR+ and a f/2.0 aperture. Featuring 2700mAh battery, with Quick Charge support providing up to 3.8 hours of charge in 10 minutes, the Nexus 5X comes with 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC. The device is available in Carbon Black, Quartz White, and Ice Blue variants.
In India, In India, Nexus 6P will be available from price range Rs 39,999 for the 32GB variant, and Nexus 5X will start at Rs 31,900.
