Samsung Z3 Tizen-based smartphone launched in India

Samsung has skipped launching Z2 smartphone and has directly announced Tizen smartphone Z3which will hit the stores of Indian Market this October. Available in Gold, Black and Silver colour variants, Samsung Z3 is priced at Rs 8,490 and will be available on Snapdeal in few days.

Like the Samsung Z1, the Z3 is powered by the company’s home grown mobile operating system. The low-cost Tizen phone features 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. There’s internal storage of 8GB and can be further expandable up to 128GB.

Samsung Z3 is equipped with 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera, and it runs on the Tizen 2.4, which brings several UI enhancements and contextual services

The device has some advanced selfie cam capabilities including Automatic Selfie’ mode with facial recognition, ‘Beauty Face’ mode automatically retouches images and ‘Wide Selfie’ mode to capture up to 120 degrees angle for that perfect group selfie shot. The phone packs 2,600 mAh battery and features Samsung’s Ultra Power Saving Mode, which can improve the battery life by disabling the basic functions.

The South-korean giant has also introduced Ultra Data Saving Mode feature in Z3, which allows users to save on data costs by compressing all incoming and outgoing internet traffic
