BlackBerry Priv with Android 5.1.1 Price & Specifications

UK-based retailer Carphone Warehouse has unveiled the pricing details of Android-running BlackBerry Priv finally, and Blackberry has released an official promo video of the smartphone by launching the pre-registration page earlier this week. BlackBerry Priv is set for pre-orders in UK which carries a tag of GBP 579.99 (approximately Rs. 58,000).

BlackBerry Priv combines the touch
screen with a physical keyboard that slides out, which can be accessed by sliding up the display, just like the erstwhile BlackBerry Torch.

It sports a 5.4-inch 2560×1440 pixel dual-curved AMOLED display with 540ppi pixel density. The Android 5.1.1-running device supports single-nano SIM. Powered by a hexa-core (1.8GHz dual core + 1.44GHz quad core) Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC alongside 3GB of RAM, BlackBerry Priv comes with 32GB internal storage expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.

It’s powered by massive 3410mAh battery, BlackBerry Priv is equipped with an 18-megapixel rear camera along with dual LED flash unit which is complemented with a 2MP front-facing camera. The phone weighs 192 grams and will be 9.4-inches thick.

The BlackBerry Priv release date has been confirmed to be launched on November 6, and the BlackBerry Priv pre-orders have already kicked off, and the on contract plans starting at a lofty £49 per month. There is no official word yet if the Priv will be pushed to the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
