Apple updates iWork Productivity apps with new features

Apple has added new features and capabilities to all three of its iWork apps including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on both the OS X, iOS platforms and iCloud.com, where the host of added features will bring support for the new features in El Capitan and iOS 9.

Coming to the iOS, the apps
Pages, Keynote and Numbers will work with Split View, Slide Over and Picture in Picture on the iPad, and it lets you now use the iOS 9’s multitasking features with the Apple’s apps enhancing you to simultaneously work on the document and on reasearch.

Coming to the web, Apple has removed the web and apps on the icloud and further added the features to new platforms. It allows you to now comment and browse version history from the browsers. With the new features, you can also view the shared documents in the smartphone browser.

The latest versions will now allow you to open iWork ’08 and ’06 documents and the shared ones can be viewed in iOS and Android browsers. The other improvements include the OpenType support on the Mac, which enhances the MS Office document compatibility and the other improved collaboration features and host of changes and additions unique to each app.

These iwork apps can be upgraded and downloaded from the respective App Stores.
