OnePlus 2 now available in Indian retail store for try-outs

Chinese based startup OnePlus teamed up with Bharti Airtel to showcase its latest smartphone OnePlus 2 at its retail stores.

Users who are interested to buy the new OnePlus 2 can try out the device at the 50 Airtel stores across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru for a hands-on experience. While it is only limited to 3 cities for now, Airtel has plans to roll out the device to other cities where Airtel has 4G presence. The smartphone is available online in Amazon in India.

Users have to get their hands on invites for purchasing the OnePlus 2 smartphone, and Airtel has decided to give away the OnePlus 2 invite to the company’s users who upgrade their existing sim card for an Airtel 4G sim or go for a new Airtel 4G connection at the store. Airtel will however hand over the invites on first-come-first-serve basis.

OnePlus 2 Phone Specifications:

OnePlus 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS LCD In-Cell display, which runs on OxygenOS, based on Android version Lollipop 5.1. Powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, OnePlus 2 comes with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, USB Type-C support and dual-4G SIM.

The camera has a resolution of 13-megapixels and has laser-assisted autofocus, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, RAW image support, and OIS and the secondary camera is of 5 MP. The OnePlus 2 packs a 3300mAh battery, and below the display is hardware button that houses a fingerprint scanner, and the USB Type C port is located at the bottom.

While the OnePlus 2 64GB variant with 4GB RAM is priced at Rs 24,999, while the 32GB model with 3GB RAM is priced at Rs 22,999 in India.
